UDP Leaders Arrested"Let them gun me down first before they arrest any of you" Lawyer Darboe



Members of the main opposition Untited Democratic Party (UDP) including executive members and party leader Lawyer Ousainou Darboe, Laim Dibba,Alhagie Momodou Sanneh, Alhagie Kemeseng Jammeh, Momodou Sarr amongst others were attacked beaten and arrested by the Gambia Security forces while on a peaceful demonstration along the Kairaba Avenue this afternoon.

"Let gun me down first before the arrest any of you" Lawyer Darboe tells his executives on the point of their arrest.  He (Darboe) is reported to have told his family never to weep for him for he have acheived a lot in this world.
The demonstrators were demanding the immediate release of their party members arrested earlier on Thursdays while on a semilar protest march. There are on confirm reports of torture and deaths. The UDP party which was not prevy to the Thursday demonstration were force take to the streets to salvage their fellow party members including some executives. This medium confirmed that it was some folks in the Untited State of America who lured the UDP campaign manager Solo Sandeng and his team to the Thursdays demonstration. However, those Gambian American citizens are known of hiding behind the dark and push other in for them to have their political ambision. They were the same group who mogaged the lifes of Mahawa Cham and Soul Ndow. They have since kept mute on the issue.
