The daughter of the former minority leader honorable Alhgie Momodou Sanneh have joined the long list of Gambians and the international community demanding for the immediate release of the arrested peaceful demonstrators in the Gambia. Fatima Sanneh who lives in the United States of America on her facebook posting call on the government of the Gambia to let off their hands from her father and all the other detainees.
"Free my daddy Alh Momodou Sanneh now,free lawyer Darbo and the entire UDP executive" said madam Fatima Sanneh. She further demands the release of Solo Sandeng dead or alive and all those earlier on arrested on Thursday. She said the arrested men and women were exercising their fundamental human rights. That peaceful demonstrations are basic rights and must be respected.
"My dad and her collegues commited no crime in doing what they did, so they must be freed"Fatima lamented.
It could be recalled that Alhagie Momodou Sanneh, Alhagie Kemeseng Jammeh, Femi Peters and the UDP leader Lawyer Ousainou ANM Darboe were arrested along side other party executives and supporters while on a peaceful protest demanding for their party youths dead or alive.
